After months of frustration, we finally have our building permit approved and in our hands!
We have an address now and everything! (I edited it out so we wouldn’t have creepy internet weirdos trying to find it, obviously). So now Mark is sitting here brainstorming the next moves with our house plans all over the floor while Little Man takes a nap. Lining up the plumbing, radiant heat, foundation, and piers are first on the list.
Little Man is probably going to be asleep for a long while too…we took him out to Neltner’s Farm Fall Fest! If you’re in Northern KY and are looking for a fun way to spend the afternoon this fall, head out to Neltner’s Farm! Little Man got to pet some goats and sheep,
take a wagon ride to pick out his own pumpkin,
run through the corn maze,
and even take his own private train ride (we got there EARLY)!
Plus there’s good food, hot cider, an adorable model train set up (that Anthony loved so much that he wept when we had to leave), free wine tasting from Stonebrook Winery (that I loved so much that I could have wept when we had to leave), farm-fresh ice cream, and live music!
So now that he’s downstairs napping away, we’ll get back to the business of making our dream home a reality! Take care, all!
